In the world of Science Education, we are providing students with content knowledge that will go on to serve them as future problem solvers and game changers. To do so, they will need to be critical thinkers, team players, and highly motivated. How do we empower our students to change the world? In this session, we will explore CAM’s Ag Academy’s (FREE) science-backed Problem Based Learning curriculum and how we have used the power of inquiry to strengthen the benefits of both models. By exploring critical problems and using content knowledge to solve them, students will engage critically to propose potential solutions. We will further engage in this session by completing a sample activity from our Livestock Sustainability PBL and you will walk away with resources to recreate this lesson in your classroom.
