Our 2024 theme, Advancing Inquiry, encompasses a wide range of topics, including 'AI' artificial intelligence. The sessions cater to all levels of education, from pre-K/elementary to higher ed, and cover various areas of science education, including leadership. There truly is something for everyone!
Keynote Speaker: AI- The Good, the Bad, and the “Should We Be Doing This”
Dr. Steve Hadfield is a recently retired Associate Professor from the US Air Force Academy. His passion for teaching spanned 31 years in both the Departments of Computer Science and Mathematical Sciences where he taught 28 distinct courses and led academics in both departments. His research interests include humanoid robotics, computer science education, artificial intelligence, parallel computing, sparse matrix algorithms, and linear algebra. Steve has authored one book and 41 refereed publications.
